Queensland’s own chemical-free, Bunya Red Farm Capers are grown in the rich fertile red soil looking out to the Bunya Mountains in South Burnett.
With our Mediterranean climate we’ve chosen to diversify our 160 acre property. They share the land with a peanut corn crop rotation, cattle, alpacas, a veggie patch, chooks, guinea fowl, and our loved cats and dogs.

Bunya Red Farm Capers are handpicked, washed and salted with Australian sea salt. After curing, they are packed, ready for you to enjoy.
Great in salads, pasta, on pizza, eggs benedict, smoked salmon… imagine how capers can add that zing to your recipes – fresh and fruity, with an intensity of flavour. Yum!

Bunya Red Farm caperberries are handpicked, washed and then pickled in vinegar.
They can be used in the same way that caper are, or just served with cheese and crackers on your next antipasto platter.

Due to recent hail storms we will not have caperberries available before Christmas. Our caper plants need at least a month to recover. Sorry to disappoint you all. Please email us if you would like to be advised when our Caperberries are back in stock as stock will be limited.

Moist caper infused salt using our chemical-free Bunya Red Capers which are grown on our South Burnett property looking out to the Bunya Mountains.
To reduce waste, we use the leftover salt from the caper curing process and add more capers to it, grind it up and it is great on fish, chicken or even steak. Less salt going down the drain to the saltbush paddock. Win win I would say.
Use as a sprinkle, or just on anything you like!
